| Does he also tell you what to wear and not wear? Has your relationship always been like that? If so, go for it. If not, most adults don't tell other adults what to wear. They don't even express their opinion unless asked. |
| That style would work in my part of Canada - large urban area. It's not even an "old man" look. |
Newsboy cap! Good for all ages
|

Oh my I just went down a rabbit hole at this site. https://www.bostonscally.com/
There are actually many caps with more ballcapish fabric. Also so many pins to hip it up.

EXACTLY! We own a Bentley and my DH wears the drivers' cap when taking it to shows. He looks very handsome in it. Much more so than golf caps. |
| We need to bring fedoras back. |
What a weird outlook. Usually they are better put together than the average slob of a guy wearing cargo shorts, a wife beater T and a truckers cap. Or the 38 yo who still dresses like he is in a fraternity. A man in a fedora or a flat cap usually has given some thought to slacks, too, color, etc. You hate this and think it’s “trying too hard?” You’re into man-boys? |
| My DH wears those from time to time and no one bats an eye. I think they look good! He's in his early 50's if that makes a difference. |
Aren’t drivers caps and golf caps the same? |
| Once you are 50, you don't have to give a toot what people think of your hat. Let him be. It really doesn't matter. |
| It's cute. |
Ditto. For my DH. I wish he wore it more. It makes him look tailored. |
| Get him an urban sombrero. |
That's funny, I call them Irish guy caps or Old guy caps. |
| He's not wearing it for you, so get over yourself. |
