Floors: several times a week, shedding dog.
Bathrooms: once a month, with spot-cleaning as needed in between.
Really scrub shower/tubs: once a quarter, husband does that.
Change bed sheets: once every two weeks (everyone showers before bed), unless I forget.
Dust: once a month.
Inside of oven/microwave: only when we spill.
Windows: never.
Mirrors: once a month.
Stairways: several times a week to once a month, again due to dog and which one he uses.
Empty out and scrub fridge: hardly ever, because husband packs it full which is a constant source of frustration!
Garage floors: never. Husband hoards in there.
Baseboards: once a quarter, plus walls that dog likes to brush against.
Fans/blinds/light fixtures: once a quarter, but I forget often.

PP thank you so much for validating me! Same ish schedule here although with two cats instead of a dog.

Op here and honestly happy with the responses. We are 2 working parents with a 5yo, 2yo, and golden retriever. We're solidly average compared to the responses.

Change bed sheets: once a week
Dust: once a week, sometimes skip and to once in two weeks
Inside of oven/microwave: as needed, every time something is spilled/burned
Windows: spring and fall, so twice a year.
Mirrors: bathrooms mirrors once a week, around the house - as needed, maybe every three month
Stairways: same as floors
Empty out and scrub fridge: once a month
Garage floors: once a year

Floors: Daily
Bathrooms: Weekly
Really scrub shower/tubs: Once a month or so. But I live alone -- it doesn't get *that* funky
Change bed sheets: every weekend
Dust: every other day
Inside of oven/microwave: every 1-2 weeks
Windows: seasonally
Mirrors: every 1-2 weeks
Stairways: swiffer 2-3x/week
Empty out and scrub fridge: 2-3x a year
Garage floors: n/a
Baseboards: every 2-3 months or so. Because I dust/vacuum every 1-2 days, they rarely get dusty
Fans/blinds/light fixtures: 2-3x/year (ditto above)

Floors: sweep/ swiffer kitchen - daily; vacuum/ mop - once a week
Bathrooms: I’d like to say once a week but it typically slips to every other week
Really scrub shower/tubs: same as when I clean the bathroom. If I’m scrubbing, I might as well do it right
Change bed sheets: weekly
Dust: again, would like to say once a week but probably more like every other week
Inside of oven/microwave: as needed - 1-2x/ month?
Windows: hire out for outside cleaning once a year; inside? Rarely?
Mirrors: bathroom mirrors when we clean the bathroom; others 1-2x month
Stairways: vacuum every 2-3 weeks
Empty out and scrub fridge: maybe once a quarter
Garage floors: 1-2x per year
Baseboards: maybe once a month when getting more serious about dusting
Fans/blinds/light fixtures: - maybe 1x per month (or less?) when I notice dust

You beat me to it. I was going to say every time the power is out.

I know all of these are not often enough, but I prioritize other things. It’s all me with limited help from husband (works out of town during the week) and kids.

Floors: monthly
Bathrooms: weekly
Really scrub shower/tubs: every couple months
Change bed sheets: weekly
Dust: when I notice (ie can write in it)
Inside of oven/microwave: oven - never? Micro - monthly
Windows: once a year
Mirrors: monthly
Stairways: monthly
Empty out and scrub fridge: once a year (whole thing), spot clean monthly
Garage floors: sweep out the leaves once a year
Baseboards: once a year (before in-laws visit)
Fans/blinds/light fixtures: once a year or less depending on the fixture

Just reading these lists exhaust me.

My cleaning service is called "Save the Weekend" and I wouldn't trade them for anything!

If you know anyone with cancer - they offer free cleanings too:

Scrub the fridge - once a year
Change bedsheets - once a week
Clean bathrooms - once every 2 weeks
Vacuum - daily or every other day. Dog sheds!
Clean floors - once every 2-3 weeks 😣
Dust - once a month or so

I do the best I can. Vacuuming often and keeping things tidy/surfaces clean helps give the appearance of a clean home.

Well I am pretty negligent but reading through I can say what helps...

Leaving shoes at front door (we aren't fanatics about it just regularly do it. Downstairs is hardwood. Upstairs is light-colored carpet.

Discourage spilling in microwave - use a paper towel to cover splattery foods and a plate to cover soup bowls. Teens getting worse about this lately.

We usually don't eat in the car. Babies were allowed only oat Cheerios during that early stage. Drinks beyond water are rarely allowed.

Bleach toilet tank tablets help in our area - otherwise we get mineral rings that attract crud

We use clear, unfragranced pourable hand soaps and bodywash. Cuts down on sink and shower cleaning.

Oh. And I probably sweep my garage about once every three years. Whenever the cars are gone and I feel there's just a few too many dirt bunnies/crunchy leaf bits in the corners.

This PP is my doppelgänger (and my DH’s, as he is also a garage hoarder) Except I have a poodle, so I clean less because there is no dog hair.
