Why are Ward 1 residents angry? They are all democrats, just like Nadeau and every single other council member (and the mayor).

They voted for this. YOU voted for this, DC.

Got to love the end of the video where she cracks a joke to mock the residents' concerns, laughs, then immediately follows up with "I hear you, and as I said I'm taking it seriously."

It's as if her mask slipped for a second, and then she remembered the right thing to do is to pretend to care, say "I'm taking this seriously," and proceed to completely ignore there concerns (most D.C. politicians will do this - claim that they're taking crime very seriously while they completely ignore crime).

I am no fan of No Do but in fairness she had said at the top she would be in and out, she had other meetings and I believe another hearing to chair. Frumin was also in and out. Bonds stayed for the part I saw and engaged.

Actually only the main wing is two-story, the side wing is only one story as we had to extend all the way to the pool house.

The Petit Scholars assailant should have been off the street much earlier. CA has moved to make involuntary commitment easier, for longer periods. DC helps no one, not the suffering individual nor public safety with the current, outdated approach.

He was there in person on and off. He said he had other meetings/hearings. The only ones there in person at all were Bonds, Frumin, Nadeau and Henderson, Pinto was the chair. There were other hearings today on Council schedule.
