i just bought 2 pair of these and love them. more than the expensive ones.

None of the models look good in those.

I'm wearing JCrew Factory, AT, and BR midrise stretch skinny jeans. I have never seen a butt look good in high rise. Not one. I also don't want restrictive, bulky things (jeans, underwear) around my middle.

The pair in my closet that fits me best is the Talbots curvy fit straight leg. I have other jeans from Madewell, Paige, and one or two others, but the Talbots jeans are the ones I always reach for first.

Democracy "ab"solution itty-bitty boot cut:

I got them at Nordstrom Rack and they've been my new go-to pair this fall.

Old Navy "Power Straight" -- a name I find hilarious. IDK what a "power straight" is but I'm pretty sure I'm not it.

Someone here recommended the Maeve wide-leg jeans by Anthropologie, and I love them for my trendy jeans this season.

The Madewell Stovepipe are nice. Not skinny but not wide either which I find challenging with shoes and as a shorter person generally with cut.

I have about 4 or 5 colors of the Madewell Perfect Vintage jeans. They’re my go-to.

+1

I have a few pairs of J Crew "Matchstick" straightish jeans from sometime around then that I haven't found replacements for. I guess they're considered vintage by now.

Modern pairs are mainly bootcut or baby boot. I have a single pair of wide leg trouser jeans that I feel slightly ridiculous in but they actually look pretty good on me so I might need to just get used to them more.

OMG I lived in J Crew matchstick jeans and especially pinwale cords for years. They came in tall sizes, and I LOVED them. Wish they still sold them!

J. Crew Vintage Straight for sure, and also Levi's Icon Wedgie Straight.

I've always worn Paige. Worth every penny.

Levi's. The fabric has some stretch in it, and they come in a variety of sizes & lengths.
