If you are mid 40s female what jeans are you wearing?

Please post both brand and style. I bought two pairs of kick out crop jeans (Paige and Madewell) over the weekend and after trying them on again, I realized they look super dumb on me. I think I want straight jeans with a wider leg opening at the bottom or like baby bootcut jeans. I can’t do the trendier styles. I have a few pairs of Mother the Dazzler straight jeans but they are borderline skinny jeans to me.

I just got Paige Leenah jeans and I really like them, I just have to get them because they’re super long. (And I’m 5’9”).

^ hem them, not get them

If you like Mother, the tomcat ankle jeans are good for me. I wore them all summer and now with boots.

Straightish jeans I’ve had since 2009.

I have a few pairs of J Crew "Matchstick" straightish jeans from sometime around then that I haven't found replacements for. I guess they're considered vintage by now.

Modern pairs are mainly bootcut or baby boot. I have a single pair of wide leg trouser jeans that I feel slightly ridiculous in but they actually look pretty good on me so I might need to just get used to them more.

Try the Insider (Mother) - that is their boot cut. I love them. I also like Abercrombie 90's high-rise jeans.

Old Navy mid rise boot cut from about 8 years ago.

I recently bought a Target high-rise skinny jean, and was delighted to find it was indeed high-rise, instead of not high enough, and that it fit me perfectly. However, the fabric has a slight smell, and now I'm reminded of why I usually don't shop at Target - I bought kid clothes there years ago, and had the same issue. I don't know what they do to their clothes! Smells plasticky, almost, even after washing.

So in the future, I'll stick to AG, like I had before.

I don’t wear jeans anymore moved to the comfy pull on pants that feel like sweatpants.

Same. I'm on this thread just in case someone recommends a pair of these comfy pants with somewhat jean-lines (jeggings?!!) that I can wear to work.
