Yes absolutely is still happening, BSC is taking your money and delivering Muldoon Farms and mismashed brackets

I’m praying when I get to Muldoon games it will be nicer than it used to be.

Given today’s rain, it’s going to suck.

I thought this tournament was supposed to be all turf. Apparently my kid is on grass tomorrow as well [but in VA]

Holy S, I thought you people were just messing around that Bethesda was still using Muldoons, but I just looked and U13s are there. That's outrageous.

Who cares. Better than turf that gives you cancer.

sad for some teams to travel from very far away and play on soggy grass, and sad for more locals to play each other there: GFR v. Alex and VYS v. PW can't be too excited to travel for to play other locals on soaked pastures

We played on Muldoon’s fields in the spring and the fields were actually really nice. Does it just become a mess in rain? In the spring, it was drizzly before and after but the fields were still good.

Fields are below hill, where does water go on top of hill?

Soggy grass? So you want them to predict the weather? Get over yourself. Do you not understand that most soccer players like playing on grass? They are kids. They can start their cancer journey on the va turf fields.

Yes pulisic often reminisces about that nice dry Trinidad Tobago field a few years ago.
Chillax. Nice grass fields v soggy poor fields is a difference. Why do they cancel games due to weather ?

How was Muldoons?

We were there all weekend. Nice slope to field 3. Couldn't see the goals due to the glare of the sun. It looked like a slightly larger 9v9 field. Some good bumps and divots to twist ankles.
There was some amazing talent in the first bracket. Super fun games to watch. Felt bad teams came from Canada, IN, OH to play on a farm. My kid was lower bracket so it was fun to watch the ecnl teams.
I cannot believe Bethesda brings in out of state teams and then puts them at Muldoons. It's embarrassing for the DMV that this is the best we have to offer.
