Yes, like I said, move. It’s going to happen in arlington too if this “missing middle” lawsuit fails. Dc is turning to crap. Not sure where to go. |

Why not talk with the Code Enforcement part of your local government (town, city, or county) ? They know the rules and they can lookup zoning or whatever for that address, and they have authority to inspect as needed.
Beyond that, assuming local government says it is legal or does not care, then your options are either to be silent & stay or to move away. |
Five PhD students with their families (spouse and 1 child each) would be ok? |
And BTW, I pick up the trash daily when I pick up my newspaper (using the bag). It just becomes routine. For whatever reason they leave their garbage containers open so raccoons or ?? get in and leave a mess. The trash then blows around. |
Report to code authorities, fire authorities, etc. |
Multiple families is not the same as unrelated people. We have multiple families living next door to us and they’re all related. |
This. The rich are getting richer (the 1%), the rest of us had better adapt. A Murdoch employee is now CEO of The W Post. Bezos is moving to Miami. I shudder to think if Trump is elected again. Chin up. |

I routinely see 12 plus people living in a home or townhouse. Prior to Covid I would see rooms being rented out to those who worked at night and needed a bed during the day. [

My guess is you have decent schools and a group home is the only way that the families can afford to access them. Vote for candidates who want to cap rents and ensure more affordable housing is built and you won’t face this situation. |
| This is happening in my area of New Jersey . Beautiful suburban area and tons of “llcs” are purchasing the homes and stuffing them with multiple families. The LLCs are always named after the street the house is on and always a new name for each house . It’s getting weird when it’s so damn many in my town . The houses then get neglected and the market values may decline because of this |
Np not helpful. I wonder what you would say if they moved next door to you? |
There’s a rental in my neighborhood that has 2 married couples living in it to offset the high rent, but technically a 4 or 5 bedroom house could hold 4 or 5 couples I guess. Would that be considered 5 unrelated people? |

So you made up this story just to insert your political views and tell us you're getting out? OK, you solve your own "nightmare". On principle, I don't like you because of the prejudices you exhibit about renters in general. There are a lot of people who rent in the world (some of them wealthier than you) and most of them take care of their living spaces. The neighbor can set up cones or boulders or a fence if parking is an issue on her property. |
LOL…you know you’ve lost the argument when all you have left is imagined racism. |
How is your comment relevant? She didn’t say she hates all multi family housing. She is complaining that her neighbors leave trash and park on other people’s lawns. Like most people, I’m sure she’d be fine with a good neighbor. |
