I’ll say it again. He will be reelected. He is a leader.

Did you see the same person I did tonight? The words he spoke, fine, I’ll give you but the slurred speech and his face it’s like he’s got a mask on. He’s not well. Makes us look weak as a country. I honestly feel bad for him.

It’s over, the Democratic Party has splintered. The last mail in this coffin was this.

I work in global security and the younger generation is angry about what is going on and see the hypocrisy of this administration.
They have grown up in an anti-Trump era where the boogeyman was blamed for everything and then we got Biden and they realized he is really no different.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

If you keyboard warriors continue to stay in your bubble and consume mainstream media then go ahead and believe Biden will win. You will be surprised the day after the election the way you were surprised Hillary did not win.

And no--the abortion issue or gun issue will not convince people to vote for Biden. The young folk are done with Biden and MAGA will win.

If you really think Biden is no different than Trump, then you deserve what’s coming to you in 2024.

Mean twitts? They would be refreshing.

The description I heard that describes my takeaway was that this speech seemed to be the result of someone dropping the papers on the floor and picking up the pages out of order before reading it.
It was disjointed and not terribly inspiring.

He also spent very little time addressing the horrors suffered by the Jewish people and the real people behind all the strife in the world right now - IRAN.

I'll give him credit for uttering the word, "Iran" since he hasn't done that in the past weeks, but this administration has to take a much tougher stance with them and inform the American people about the evil of Iran.

The description I head from Brit Hume was “It may be remembered as one of the best if not the best speeches of his presidency. He was firm. He was strong.”

You are just salivating over WW3, huh?

It was a great speech. I believe him when he says that America is in this for the right reasons. I am holding on to hope that we can broker lasting peace in the ME, and Europe. He broke it down very clearly for people that might not understand that Russia and Iran are destabilizing both regions, and we have to help—a majority of Americans don’t understand that.

We lost all moral credibility on the world stage when we supported Israel’s occupation of Palestine. If Putin wants to do the same to Ukraine, then it should be fine as might is right is the name of the game. Do these speechwriters even listen to their hypocrisy?

Ok, Vlad.

That DCUM still has
folks who do this reminds me this place is:
Doubly
Credulous,
Unrepentantly

WW3 will result in a void of American leadership. That is what we have now.
Being tough on Iran will not result in WW3. Iran is emboldened because they sense weakness.

such beautifully constructed sentances containing such garbage. Reminds me of Cheney, as his speech, while on the opposite side of the political spectrum, also had this quality.

Its like watching a corpse give a speech. Quite sad. Feinstein would be a better President

So.. what does "being tough" look like? We need war.... to avoid war?

I work with a lot of young people who’s Ed really conflicted about I/P. I can see the case for “done with Biden” (maybe). But there is no world in which they throw their vote to MAGA. And might get out of bed to defeat MAGA.

No he lost that by going to Israel and joining Bibi and the other RWNJs. He shed any pretense neutralism and the US will now pay for that. No other president in America history has done that and there is a reason for it. Israel see Biden’s support as having given them the green light to annex Gaza and the West Bank by removing or killing the Palestinians.

Israel is a bad actor and we just consigned their debts. The US and its citizens now are target number one for terrorism because we are now Israel, the settlement and killing innocent civilians. For what? The state of Israel is in reality unimportant to the US, not an ally and a religious state is the opposite of the values of this country.

Biden’s sugar rush is great now but we will pay for it. Biden’s actions will get us involved in more wars and terrorism for Israel not the US. History will judge him harshly.
