Botox, I think. His face hardly moves.

Biden is our very own Lady Cassandra. Moisturize him before he cracks.

I’ll take “old, decent and intelligent” over “vain old bully.”

+1000 and anyone who doesn't see that Mr. Orange Spray Tan and Ridiculous Combover is far more obsessed with his appearance than Biden maybe needs a new pair of glasses.

Sorry but Biden is botoxed to the hilt and it shows. This is not a comment on his policies, many of which I don't agree with. Still if I have to choose between Biden and Trump, I will choose neither. I'm tired of voting for old people.

A vote for neither is a de facto vote for Trump. Just like in 2016.

Tired of people like you who take no responsibility for your voting habits.

What a sick, sick soul he is.

Do you just throw out nonsense all day and night to see how folks react? Gen Z has had rights stripped away in fact and grew up practicing active shooter drills in school. They will vote for candidates that will push back on both among other issues.

not true. My four GenZ children, their spouses and friends will all vote for him.

You have no idea who they will vote for. You're not present when they fill out a ballot. And are probably telling you they're for Biden because they're tired of hearing you ysp.

Lolol. Like you have a better idea of who PP’s family and friends will vote for. Go back to your basement.

They never left.

Childish tantrums

Trump? Yes, he’s very sick. A fraud, a traitor, a rapist, a terrible father… but for soft headed numpties, he’s the same as Biden. Can you imagine? Oh well. Sheep gotta sheep.

Good speech, it is important to support the efforts of our allies in the two wars started under my watch. Making replacement munitions will add more manufacturing jobs in the US.

Did I miss an salient points?

Would you prefer that we abandon our allies and not support democracy internationally? We are even allowed to choose our own pronouns here. You can't do that in Russia or Gaza.

It’s over, the Democratic Party has splintered. The last mail in this coffin was this.

I work in global security and the younger generation is angry about what is going on and see the hypocrisy of this administration.
They have grown up in an anti-Trump era where the boogeyman was blamed for everything and then we got Biden and they realized he is really no different.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

If you keyboard warriors continue to stay in your bubble and consume mainstream media then go ahead and believe Biden will win. You will be surprised the day after the election the way you were surprised Hillary did not win.

And no--the abortion issue or gun issue will not convince people to vote for Biden. The young folk are done with Biden and MAGA will win.

Young people will NEVER vote MAGA. And your take on Biden is wrong, probably because your viewed the whole thing through a preconceived lens look ing for a way to color it negative. Biden didn't start these wars. You can't pretend this isn't happening, and you can't pretend we can ignore it.

That’s a bold statement. It’s true, but in the past that hasn’t been a central and public message.

To be clear, I don’t like the fact that it’s true.

& for all those that don’t see the parallel between what Israel has done in Palestine and what Putin is doing in Ukraine should read this piece: https://www.wbir.com/amp/article/news/nation-world/israel-ends-west-bank-raid-palestinians-grapple-with-destruction/507-d863dadb-0c97-47a0-bd26-be1df61577ca

NPR has reported other stories as well that seem well researched with on the ground reporting. I was just listening to a piece, yesterday, which I can’t find online now or I would share, with several first hand interviews backed up by sourced facts and figures that were very compelling. Can I be sure it’s not all lies? No - but the steady stream of reported atrocities builds a pattern.

The attack on Israel and hostage taking is horrific. Israel behavior in the region created a pressure cooker situation which - in retrospect - is not surprising that it burst. Both statements can be true at the same time. And I am not antisemitic (my father’s side of the family is Jewish Ukrainian who left Ukraine during the early 1900s bc of Jewish persecution). And I’m not even anti - Israel (I understand that the holocaust made clear that Jewish people need a homeland) But, certainly the current situation is horrible for the entire region. And I can’t see how the US pouring in military support will help the people who live there.

FWIW, my Dad swears that his Grandparents (the ones that cane to NYC from Ukraine) saw / called themselves Russian - not Ukrainian. They did not feel Ukrainian bc of the persecution they had faced there. History is complicated and I know I’m the US we see Russian’s invasion of Ukraine as their invasion of a sovereign nation, but this can be debatable. I have to get off my soapbox and to work so I don’t have time to fully read, but I think this blog might do a good job in laying out a complex history:

https://blogs.lse.ac.uk/lseih/2020/07/01/there-is-no-ukraine-fact-checking-the-kremlins-version-of-ukrainian-history/

The world is a complicated place and we simply cannot sum things up simplistically.

None of that justifies Russia starting a war by invading Ukraine with guns and bombs and killing. At all. Not even a little bit.

I thought Trump was going to start the wars? No, it’s Biden and a return to neo-con wars.

You don't understand how Trump contributed to the start of this war?

There won't be a draft. But Gen Z is used to dodging bullet drills in schools and real life, which is why they will be voting for the Dems.

I don’t fit any of the categories and classist stereotypes you mention but Biden has my full support. He’s been impressive in an incredibly difficultly scenario.

Agreed. I thought his speech was strong, particularly that this is a national security issue for people in the US. If Hamas wins this war, it will have very scary implications globally and specifically for us here in the US. I don't want to live through another 911 and Putin winning in Ukraine is terrifying too.

I also appreciated him speaking about values, human decency, and how US jobs can be impacted positively too.

We lost all moral credibility on the world stage when we supported Israel’s occupation of Palestine. If Putin wants to do the same to Ukraine, then it should be fine as might is right is the name of the game. Do these speechwriters even listen to their hypocrisy?

You’re fairly ignorant on Israeli’s occupation. Go back a few decades to catch up.

More relevantly go back to 1918 when post-war Europe and the US were carving up the remains of the Ottoman Empire and tried to get rid of those pesky Jews by shipping them to their "homeland." The blame lies with then Great Britain and the United States -- toss in the Irgun for laughs.
