They knew about halfway into building this house that they were ultimately going to Florida. Turns out they got there sooner. I think it’s about supporting their sons’ golf careers. They are both actually very nice people but did get too much work done.

So they built this on spec to sell to someone else? There are some weird personal choices if that is the case.

Yes! I was in this one and it was lovely. It had great molding and the gorgeous old hardware on the doors and windows. It had so much more character and charm. Prior to his recent extension (which presumably included a raise), his base salary alone with Fox was ~$7M per year. He likely makes much more than that with bonuses, etc.
