They seem like serious social climbers

I don’t know her, but I hear she’s actually very lovely.

Our kids were in playgroup together when they were toddlers and she was very nice.

She may be nice but she should sue her plastic surgeon. I thought his work was bad but she looks like a cartoon character. They must use the same surgeon.

I'm sorry, but I can't take a woman like this seriously.
Her son was having his 4th open heart surgery and she shows up to the hospital decked out in head to toe matching Fendi?
I saw it in her closet too. 🤮

Woah tackyyyyy

Why are you judging this woman who is clearly visiting someone dear to her in a hospital?

+1. And what’s worse is that they activated an October 2023 thread to do it. Dcum has become too mean

So he sold this two years ago and moved into the OP house, and only lived there for two years?

It doesn’t look like anyone ever lived in the house for sale. They probably live in Florida

They knew about halfway into building this house that they were ultimately going to Florida. Turns out they got there sooner. I think it’s about supporting their sons’ golf careers. They are both actually very nice people but did get too much work done.

A guy who promotes climate deniers is not a nice person.

Blood on hands

Was it necessary to dig up a year old thread just to say that? 🤔

It's still for sale!

Click on the link below and then click on "street view".

What a nightmare... and I heard that went on for months and months while they were building.

It's hilarious that they have a clear lie in the first sentence.

"the highest point in Washington,"

Which, how on earth can you say that, when....

I really don’t understand the difference between this house and an $11m house. Maybe I’m just dumb.

Maybe this one comes with the ugly art?

I guess it’s the giant party rooms? But I dunno, it seems like a lot just for it to be so big.

Why are the property taxes so low? 97k a year for a 28.9M property. That is only 0.33% a year for property taxes.

New owners can expect a massive hike. Unless they’re somehow a tax exempt entity.

The database shows the 2024 taxes as $178,995.98.

I live not far from this house and drive on Foxhall on my daily commute. When the previous house was torn down, I could see from the road that the house had an amazing view. It is not often in DC that some house can claim to offer a view, but this one is a legit claim. It's probably 2 miles from Fort Reno, which is technically the highest point in DC (to my knowledge).

Did this ever sell?

How is this guy so rich? His Florida mansion is obscene too.

NOPE!
It's shocking that it's still for sale with that foyer (sarcasm!).

That is THE ugliest foyer I've ever seen -- that tile is hideous.

They originally listed it on:

10/18/2023 for $31,900,000

They lowered it on

2/24/2024 to $28,995,000

And it hasn't come down since.

How much does Fox pay this guy? He’s not even a star on the channel and can afford $60 million in mortgages and upkeep?
