That's great! |
Good for you! That's great. I am similar in age and miscarriage history, more overweight. Cutting out sugar and white flour had similar effects, after the initial withdrawal. I'm half irritated - so annoying when the bummer thing people tell you to do, works! - but neat to see changes. |
OP I love that you started this thread. It’s inspiring and encouraging. We all need more of that in our lives. Thank you. |
I’ve always struggled with cardio, but after 2 months of working out consistently, I walked all the way to the top of the escalator at the Tenleytown metro without getting winded. Never been able to do that before. |
I started WW about 6 weeks ago and have only lost 8 lbs so far but my clothes fit WAY better and I feel so energetic running. I think that’s when I notice the biggest difference. I’m trying to do it unobtrusively and still have a few bites of dessert with my kids on occasion and so far I’ve managed that. Proud of the process as well as the results. |
There is no "only" here. Eight pounds in six weeks is great! Congratulations! |
Impressive! |
I tried on my wedding dress on our 10th anniversary a few weeks ago and it still fits! Feels great after having 3 kids and csections in the last several years. Proud I worked off all the baby weight. |

Woohoo!! |
I having been doing a Peloton core class almost everyday for the past two months. At first I only did 10 minute intermediate classes, now I usually do at least 15 mins, sometimes 20 minutes and sometimes advanced level. The exercises are so much easier for me and I can feel that my a muscles are strong. If I didn’t have a big old layer of fat over them, I might just have a six pack.
I’ve also lost 20 pounds since January on Wegovy. I know they say you can’t spot lose but I really feel that the core focus has really helped my clothes fitting so much better, especially tops. Shopping is now a joy and not a fraught endeavor. |
6 weeks is a great commitment so far! And 8 pounds are a lot! |
Wow thank you for this nice comments! I’m pretty excited about the 8 lbs since my weight had really not budged in years. Hoping to lose about 15 more. |
Same height. My hips are a lot bigger than 34 inches. |
That's great, congrats! I've been thinking about doing a Peloton core program in the mornings. Hard to break my usual habits though, since I work from home. |
