It just hasn't been as common ANYWHERE in the past 25 years. Craiglist and all the online stuff really made prostitution disappear off the streets and into motels and other venues. It probably is significant that prostitution is again back out on the street. I'm not sure there's another term for prostitutes marking their wares on the street (as opposed to online, in a brothel, etc.). |
