What zip codes are assigned to Vienna or FPYC? |
| Probably the same ones as last season. |
|
This was last year.
FPYC: PYC 22003 22030 22031 22032 22033 22124 22180 vienna: 22027 22031 22043 22124 22180 22181 22182 |

They posted some more zip codes:

| The team our dc was planning on playing on lost our zip code! |
Its ok, the coach gets two exceptions so he should be fine. |
|
They should have resolved this months ago since they had the data from last year’s rec season!
(Like Congress waiting til the 11th hour to pass a CR) |
They can't publish anything until the organizations submit the data to them. |
Many coaches already know who their two exceptions will be before tryouts begin. |
| Well, its really irritating for tryouts to start this week and you don't even know if your preferred team matches your zip code. |
|
it can also be frustrating that based on zip code, some players are limited to 1 club for a tryout (non zip exception) while others can try out for as many as 3 clubs (non zip exception)
|
Yeah, that seems really unfair to me, especially if the only place you can try out only has one team per grade. 22030 has five zip codes! |
Yes that is for us. We are limited to 1 tryout (without being a zip exception) which has 1 team per grade. At that tryout there are kids from 4 other shared zipcodes trying out for multiple teams So it is meant to prevent super teams but some kids can shop around while others are an all or nothing deal |
| So frustrating. Our place's second level team was really easy to make last year and my dc enjoyed it. Went to tryouts tonight and there were easily three times as many kids as last year. Its the same coach so hopefully he feels some loyalty to his previous players but it was just not what we expected. |
