| We may go look at it. They have been emailing my son aggressively. May be a good safety. |
No, not really Bucknell stem is way stronger than Colgate Bucknell places in finance stronger than Colgate What program is stronger at Colgate? |
Most people who are not affiliated with any of these schools would view them the same. The tiny differences people tend to focus on here just don’t matter. |
Much better reputation in Wall Street analyst recruiting at Colgate. Bucknell not even listed. https://www.peakframeworks.com/post/ib-target-schools |
And this too… Don’t see bucknell anywhere! https://poetsandquantsforundergrads.com/news/ranking-wall-street-journals-2024-best-colleges-in-america/ |
According to this BYU and PSU are better than any three of these schools? |
And here: Not sure but bucknell might be better for back office or mid-office? https://www.collegetransitions.com/dataverse/top-feeders-banking |
Don’t hate the the messenger. Look at all the data. My kid applied to all 3. Let’s see how it shakes out. |
| These Wall Street links are interesting. |

It's probably similar to a lot of other SLACs. Small class sizes, only professors teaching classes (I think this is big advantage compared to what I see at the R1 where I work). I have friends who work here and other SLACs on the east coast.
A lot of privileged kids, a lot of obnoxious/frat kids, a lot of quirky kids, a lot of really nice grounded kids, and a lot of really bright and clever kids - just like most SLACs on the east coast. |
