| Yes, salt and butter. Pretty typical. |
We eat it plain too. |
I eat it plain as well. Butter makes it greasy/messy and I Iike it plain. |
False. It contains salt but not only salt. |
My kids and I also eat it plain. If it is good corn it doesn’t need anything. |
| I agree good corn doesn’t need anything. |
PP wasn’t saying Old Bay is only salt, jfc |
| I only salt if the corn is tasteless. Otherwise, butter only. |
| Grew up eating it with salted butter but never cared for it. Now I cut it off the cob and add a little olive oil and lime juice. Amazing. |
I don’t like elote at all. |
+ another vote for plain. We either grill it or cook it in salted boiling water. |

Op, Im curious to hear what else you’ve missed in life? Are you just a prude when it comes to seasoned food? Butter and salt id barely seasoning, but to me it’s the bare minimum. Add fresh cracked pepper if you think you can handle it.
And yes, lightly toast bagels and add cream cheese! Philadelphia, no exceptions! Also, if you must have a pop tart, toast it fist. For the love of God! |
| Lol. Great corn doesn’t need any seasoning. OP hasn’t missed anything in life. But I wonder if those who need to salt their corn have. |
Haha. Was thinking this too. Also, if you hear of someone adding salt to something in the future, you could just try it with salt and see if you like it. |
Great corn is even better with salt. |
