Do you salt your corn on the cob? (Put salt on it?)

Yes of course - I'm not a monster.

Yes! Season your food!

Cook/boil it with sugar. Eat it with salt.

I love corn with salt, pepper, herb rub, seasoned salt, chili flakes, lemon pepper, etc. I’m probably the only person who doesn’t like butter on corn. I like my corn crisp without all the grease.

grew up with salt and butter but once you switch to old bay instead of salt, it is hard to go back

Yes!

Am I the only one who eats it plain? I think it’s delicious by itself. Sure butter might make it better but I don’t think it needs anything. I’m not sure salt would make it better. I don’t like greasy hands from butter. My 3 kids love it plain too?

Depends on the corn. Around here it’s not great most of the time. By my parents the corn is super sweet and delicious without salt, but I can’t do corn without butter. But I do use corn holders!

I used to add salt and butter, but the corn I have eaten recently (in so cal) has been so delicious without anything on it, and I realized I don't need it!

Salt is commonly added to nearly every food.

Sugar is only slightly less common.

Doesn’t adding salt bring out sweetness?

I don’t salt it separately but I put salted butter on it so yes, salt is involved. Delicious!
