My thoughts exactly. Like, their mutual abuses of each other goes way beyond "trauma reaction" and into Psychopath Territory. I've had some messy fights in relationships, due to my dysfunctions and my partner's dysfunctions, and that's human and normal. Human messiness is normal? Depp and Heard? That's taking it to completely new level, and I don't buy that it's trauma or addiction. They are a pair of psychopaths. |
She didn't report it at the time, and there was no physical evidence. He had a really ugly streak when drunk and/or high, so who knows. Even though she may have embellished at times, I found myself believing her more than him. Though I also find it credible he may not always have remembered the details of his actions. |
| This topic is so last year. Who cares? |
| Netflix has a series out about the trial. I like Johnny Depp. He was abusive to her. |
This. They're both abusive creeps. People have no empathy for her because she was so manipulative and stayed to try to entrap him instead of just leaving. They had no children together for her to try to make a case for sole custody. There was no reason for her to stay and keep documenting him and trying to manufacture evidence of his abuse. She was just trying to get more money from him and propel herself to fame as a victim, when in fact she's also an abuser. That said, the support for Johnny Depp is disgusting. He may not have lied like Heard did, but they're both horrible people. |

| It was mentioned that they got married without having a pre-nup and it was expected that Amber would sign a post-nup shortly after the wedding, but she refused or balked and that’s when everything went downhill. They dated for something like six years; how on earth were none of his lawyers or the bajillion other people around him able to convince him that was a bad idea? |
