There is no letting him off the hook other than by his fans I guess. But if you listened to the tapes, Heard was a calculated, manipulative abuser and she lied and gave a very dramatic performance on the stand. He lied less, was less dramatic, and was more of an angry reactive drunk than a calculating abusive manipulator. So nothing wrong with widely condemning her. My thoughts exactly.

Like, their mutual abuses of each other goes way beyond "trauma reaction" and into Psychopath Territory. I've had some messy fights in relationships, due to my dysfunctions and my partner's dysfunctions, and that's human and normal. Human messiness is normal? Depp and Heard? That's taking it to completely new level, and I don't buy that it's trauma or addiction. They are a pair of psychopaths. [/quote]
