No. By the time she goes on, just rain is predicted. |
| it looks like thunderstorms till 11 on my app. |
Source? Capital weather gang is predicting much worse https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2023/08/07/dc-weather-alert-severe-thunderstorms-wind/ |
You’re quoting an article updated after I posted. The last time I checked the News4 app at noon, the thunderstorm/tornado warnings were ending before 8. |

Is anyone re-thinking the “go early to beat the start of the storm” in favor of wait out the worst and then go?
Do we think Nats Park will come to their senses and postpone/reschedule? |
| OPM is closed at 3 pm. So yes I think they will come to their senses and cancel. |
It’s not just when they end but when people are traveling to the venue. Pink should be looking out for her fans here. I hope she insists. |
Well we’ve been told by multiple posters across several threads that they’ve been to lots of games/concerts during storms and everything is fine. So no need for Pink to cancel. |
“The National Weather Service has issued a Level 4 out of 5 risk for severe storms for the first time in about a decade.” Not the same as a normal rain/storm. By your logic, there is never a storm severe enough to cancel. |
Oh dear. Reading comprehension on this site just continues to go down the drain. |
Today’s predicted weather is far worse than the storm I waited out there last year. They should absolutely cancel and do it like NOW before people start heading there. |
Yes, that’s what was said in the Beyonce thread. But people are convinced rain during a Nats game is the same as tonight. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/30/1148290.page |
I know. I posted there earlier and was feeling pretty confident it would be ok, even if lightning forced us up onto the concourse. But as the day has worn on and the information has become more alarming, I feel they should cancel/postpone. |
