Once again the Capital Weather Gang has everyone and everything freaked out that an apocalyptic storm is coming that will be another derecho/tsunami/Katrina. And once again, opps, we got it wrong.
It creates mass hysteria that is really irresponsible. People panic and think they need to get down to navy yard at 4 before the storm and then you have this huge mob. When there is a Nats game, they update their twitter account regularly with rain delay info and will often even delay opening the gates in advance. Why this didn’t happen is mind boggling. |

Whew! Glad she was able to perform. |
You realize the Nationals Stadium is a teeny part of the DMV? And a few miles in one way and a few miles in the other it actually was a disaster? Storms are hundreds of miles wide and you’re upset they didn’t predict it down to the square foot. |
| downpour just started at the stadium. Very heavy. No thunder/ lightning (yet). |
| Yikes, high winds, down pours and lightning hitting Arlington now. In DC soon. |
Good thing the noise ordinance kicked in at 11. |
People still getting to their cars, no? |
Like they are doing all over the area for various reasons, no? |
| Just got home! Great show (and she flew in the rain). Rained off and on all night but crowd was big and happy |
Great! Glad you had fun! |
| Awesome show! Pink was amazing. Weather wasn’t too bad. |

She!
Was! Amazing!!! (came back to computer to find this thread open.) Even if you don't think you're a particular fan, go next time she's in town. One of the best performers I have ever seen! She does aerials in a harness 30 feet above the stage WHILE SHE IS SINGING!! |
