You want to warm something up in the microwave for 2:30. What do you do?

3) Hit Quick Minute 3 times and take out 30 sec early. Or Hit QM twice and then near the end add another QM and take out 30 sec early.

I do 5 min in 50% power

2. But my microwave only has a 1 minute, not a :30 and it's ridiculous. So I press it 3 times and try not to get distracted (spoiler alert: I got distracted).

25 years ago my elementary school teacher told us that people were so busy these days, that they will type :11 in the microwave instead of :10, and I have done it ever since.

My mind is blown.

NP. Mine too, because I’m just like…how long is it taking you mf-ers to find the 3 and the 0 on the keypad?

It’s not about time it’s something about the mental load, I’m being funny, but also I kinda mean it.

This is the answer. I only use QM and then clear. I do clear out the remainder time when I’m done. I’m not a monster.

There isn’t a 3 or 0 on ours…so, a long ass time.

We’re at a beach rental this week and the fancy drawer microwave only has a 1 minute button. Insane!

You get style points for that.

Step 1: Accidentally enter 23:00 and leave and forget

Step 2: Order pizza delivery half hour later

What are you cooking that needs exactly 2:30

I started doing the 30 second thing. Beep beep beep beep beep.

My go-to time for reheating is 1:10, though. Always feels perfect.

Recently I had a 6m cooking time, and I still punched 30s 12x. That was silly. But it’s starting to be my habit.

Pretty much only use the 30 sec button but I can’t think of anything I wouldn’t want to stir after 2 minutes

1+, 1+, stir/flip, 30
