Well, that’s quite the sad indictment of our society. |
|
Cardi B is hardly the only female singing about sex.
Do you let your daughter listen to Ariana Grande? 34+35 ? |
|
My favorite album at that age was doggystyle, so yes.
This is not really something you can control IMO. They’ll listen with friends if you try to stop it. |
Same. Plus a lot more. Now I wouldn’t know how to sensor Spotify if I tried. |
| Genuinely curious what your process would be to “not allow” your daughter to listen to any particular aetist? I mean, I hear lyrics occasionally that I find problematic and I think it’s fine to weigh in on what these lyrics have to say about gender or sex or whatever. Those are good conversations to have. But censoring their music? No. |
Worrying about being vulgar is very middle class. |
| I sure remember singing Like A Virgin at the top of my lungs in 3rd grade. |
| I listened to all kinds of inappropriate music as a teen. I am not sure how my parents could have stopped me. |
+1 And why are you only worried about “daughters”? Sexist prude. |
That's a compliment. Not worrying about being vulgar is very low class, but vulgarity and profanity clearly sells to certain people. |

Any music that crudely degrades men and/or women reflects the "artists''" inner being and how they treat others. Cardi B's little girl is precious. Let's see how Cardi B reacts if her daughter is the focus of vulgar lyrics. |
Further, she doesn't allow her daughter to listen to her music. |
We are now talking about wet ass p***y |
