At Bowser's safety event USAO Graves went off about the threat of "unfiltered media" like the blog that highlighted that his office declines to prosecute 67% of arrests. When the WP picked up the story, bit harder to continue the pattern.

With that as a personal priority of the guy who prosecutes adults and Schwab focused on gas stoves, it's clear how we got to this point. Neither values public safety. And the Council's restrictions on police chases, reviewing of bodycam footage before writing reports in cases that are not police misconduct, etc. have all had the intended effect. It's the region, in MoCo they want to prohibit most traffic stops.

DUPONT CIRCLE ARMED CARJACKING --- Connecticut Ave at N St NW DC. 3-4 masked guys with guns carjacked the victim of a blue BMW M5 with Va paper tags. These guys match the description of a couple of other robbers elsewhere in NW this morning. #DupontCircleDC

We were sort of pariahs on our DC block in 2020 because we didn’t put up one of the many virtue signally lawn signs that were oh so popular. You see, we grew up in NYC in the 70s/80s so we knew how this movie would end. It’s been fun seeing those signs slowly and discreetly disappear over the past year.
