Can you people read? Crime is down in many categories including assault with deadly weapon -17%. Burglary down by 10%. You guys are being driven by a political narrative and not facts.
That was 21-22 not this year. Can you not read or is it just that you driven by a political narrative and not facts?
22-23 Burglary went down another 9% on top of the -10% that I mentioned earlier. Assault with a deadly weapon went up a mere 1% after the previous years huge drop of -17%….so in other words maintaining the huge progress from the prior year. Also, the elected officials have been the same for all of those years mentioned.
Burglary is down because the bad guys no longer have break into houses under the cover of darkness. That’s so 1990s. Now they just take your watch, phone, and jacket right off your back in broad daylight on the sidewalk.
Exactly. Roll up on you at the intersection of N. Capitol and Michigan avenue right by children’s hospital on a Sunday morning and take your car, wallet and phone.
