Yes. It's a parody of a Bud ad. But it figures that DCUM's finest didn't pick up on that.

I think she would win in 2028, I voted for Mike in 2008 and he was smart, I am not sure why he didn't win, but I am sure she will be able to win. She did so much for Arkansas, she even did more than her dad did in his tenure as Governor.

Done so much? She just got in office. Or do you mean oppressing kids into labor?

Seriously. She’s only been governor for a few months and other than riling up Trump’s base with inflammatory culture war talk as the Republican “response”to Biden’s SOTU, making it legal for Tyson’s Chicken to hire underage chicken hatchers, say that she was going to increase teacher pay but it was just smoke and mirrors and now taking money away from public schools to give to the baptist fundamentalist schools and homeschoolers. Hooray for a state that’s already near the bottom for education. / S

Not PP but SHS signing a law loosening child labor laws was national news earlier this year.

I'm amazed no one here realizes what she is doing.

The GOP wants to make nice with Bud Light bc Amheiser-Busch is a huge GOP donor. She's inviting people to buy her koozie and drink the "large corporation" beer. It's obviously a way to invite people to drink Bud Light again.

That's absolutely disgusting. Meat processing plants are extremely dangerous and children should not be in them as observers and especially not as workers. We are going to have maimed children because of this.

The Bud ad it’s parodying is like 20 years old.

Children doing this work solves the employment shortage problem. Keeps out those nasty brown people who just take our $. This kids can now do the work. They don’t need schooling and getting indoctrinated with woke ideas. Murica!

Sadly, most of the kids doing these dangerous jobs ARE brown people.

Better to have kids working under legal employment than illegally.

That said, there is a big difference between kids packing groceries and kids working in a meat packing plant.

Kids under 15 shouldn’t be working period

This is a slippery slope. Soon families won’t be able to get assistance such as section 8 or SNAP unless they prove their able-bodied preteen is working too. They shouldn’t be working, they should be in school.

There is a reason that public middle schools & high schools are so much more universally rigorous in many countries besides the U.S.: there, there is no expectation or need for TEENAGERS to work. They devote their time to studying. And they have the time for it.

Agreed!

The GOP wants to take us back to the turn of the century...the 20th century. Keep all those POCs and gays in line. Get those poor kids working. Give me the right to any piece of land I want so I can get me some fossil fuels! Profit for a few above the welfare of everyone else.

But hey, they are doin' it for Jesus, amirite?

The GQP doesn’t care about dead kids, much less maimed kids.
Oh, except before birth. Then they care.

This, all this right here. But, whoops, they upset their major donor.

I caught it. Use the koozie to cover up the label on the beer can. Not buy a different beer in the first place.

To be fair, Bud Light drinkers are very attached to their beer. It’s a part of their identity. There are much better real beers and even better rice adjunct light beers. People drink Bud Light because they have tied their identity to Bud Light marketing campaigns. Sarah is offering them permission to be themselves again and stop asking themselves hard questions, like why do I put this expensive trash swill in my body when I disagree with the values of the company that makes it. Given the average right wing personality type, they’ll take her up on her offer. Easier to buy a koozie than grapple with uncomfortable thoughts about who they are and why they do what they do.
