Is it known if she worked with the Russian government though? If you survey the think-tank scene in DC, there are enough distinguished academics advocating not necessarily a pro-Russian point of view, but definitely pro-negotiation, anti-weapons aid, and anti-American hegemony. |

| Isn't she in trouble simply for distributing classified documents even if not directly to the Russians? I know she has committed fraud with her advertising to helping those in Russia, but once you distribute classified documents, it's very hard to keep them from getting into the wrong hands which is why we need more protections. |
They aren't, as far as I know. It's a philosophical question whether active members of the military are allowed to have political views that differ from mainstream America, and fundraise to that effect. |

America is not at war with Russia. What law is being violated? America has sanctions on lots of countries, though not to this level. I would find it surprising if you cannot help all these countries. |
Having political views is one thing. Running a pro-Russian propaganda campaign and distributing classified materials is something else. |
