Car jacking assailant turned victim?

Assailant turned victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Davon Jones. Apparently according to the police, he fought the car owner for 72 seconds before the good samaritan/assailant interceded and apparently in the eyes of DC laws should have just asked the original perpetrator to stop.

Had 13yo not been in the process of steeling cars, he simply would not have been shot. Running and saying I am a kid, really does not change the situation much. Another sad case, but entirely avoidable. But who knows, maybe Karon's first ever stolen car.

2 - The resident shot a kid who, after breaking into his car, was running towards him at 4 in the morning. Are you saying the kid would not have hurt him if he'd gotten to him?

Perhaps they shouldn’t celebrate that the guy actually died but I think it’s worth celebrating citizens standing up to the plague of violent crime in this city and intervening against this criminal
