How older women react when they see me with younger GF

OP here. This was my reaction to another thread in which many women were expressing hostility to older men who date younger women.

Nobody thinks I am her father. We look nothing alike.

By "constantly" I mean 2-3 times per week. Many women my age do like going for walks, going out for coffee, and going out for meals. The invitations have gone way up in the last few months.

I don't think the negative reactions on DCUM are anywhere close to universal.

You are wrong. Most people are talking about you and your GF's daddy issues behind your back. On DCUM, people can be more blunt because it's anonymous.

I would think she must have issues attracting successful and mature men in their late 20-early 30s and had to settle for OP

I have experienced that too. I have a great relationship with my daughter and people comment on it. But I promise you that nobody knows earth would think I am the father of my GF.

By the way, GF had a great relationship with her father.

LOL at "she doesn't look like my daughter" comment. I look EXACTLY like my dad and we were out together one day - biking? shopping? I honestly don't recall - and we met one of my dad's (not close) friends. My father introduced me and the guy said something about how I wasn't [mom's name] and he was wondering what who my father was with. And said in a way that it was obvious he thought my dad had a girlfriend.

The older men/women are willing to say that out loud, but if you are in your 50s your friends/neighbors aren't going to be so blunt.

I am sure people assume you are rich. This stuff is not that complicated and that is how it works. Older rich men date younger pretty women.

Other women are probably asking you to do stuff more because you are probably in a good mood because you are getting laid.

My friend's 58 yr old husband was having an affair with his 25 yr old assistant. The assistant had been sexually abused by her own dad and so did not find being with my friend's hubby yucky in any way.
