Legum is a far left activist and is looking for clicks.

And, as for Justin Pearson.... He has changed incredibly in the last 7 years. Almost unrecognizable as the person he was.......

Sure, the guy has a tiny condo and a very large house where his wife and live near where his kids go to school and we're supposed to believe that he lives in the tiny condo

Hasn’t he also been collecting per diem every legislative day for having to travel to and stay in Nashville away from “home”?

Once again, a claim from Legum. Unless other, more reputable sources pick up such a story, I simply don't believe it.

Now the Tennessee Tribune has picked up the story.

Let's see who else picks up the story and whether it continues to be investigated. Doubt it will ever make the MAGA news, regardless of what is found.

We had to go and complicate it.

Why is it complicated? If two people want to dedicate their lives to each other, it is a marriage. If you don't like two people of the same sex getting married, that is a you problem, not a them problem.

Ok, I’m actually on the side of marriage equality.

I just think it would have been less religious/semantics argument if we had done the civil union licenses and ceremonies like they do in Europe. If people then want to go get the “marriage” sacrament performed, that’s their prerogative

We obviously can’t go back in time now-but it would have saved a lot trouble.

Yes we can. Precedent is not immutable.

It would take a long time to untangle all the places where “marriage” gives you some benefit .

Hopefully we have made it so that this is no longer an issue, but who knows what those nuts on SCOTUS will do, so if they undo that decision, I guess we could go to this method.

This story could be easily proven/disproven if only other journalists--or fellow lawmakers--wanted to pursue it. Heck, anybody with access to the internet could search for property records, tax records, school records. Discounting its sources doesn't make it implausible.

Why, because he let his hair grow longer and uses sunday preacher style oratory for floor speeches?

Yawn.

Are you kidding?
He looks and acts like a totally different person.

Will the real Justin Pearson please stand up.

Gee> I wonder what could have changed between this young man being 22 and now being 29? In his own growing up and finding himself and his comfort being more of who he may feel he is.

And, yet.... nobody has. There is a reason for that.
Bottom line - Judd Legum is not credible.

So basically, the GOP ejected 2 African-American delegates, drew the ire of thousands of young Tennessee voters, a well as young voters nation wide, the delegates have been reinstated as they run for special election, they have both gained national platforms to expose the racism and hypocrisy of the GOP, and the GOP in Tennessee gained...what exactly?

Seems he recognized that in Memphis, being a clean-cut, moderate politician doesn't get the attention he seeks. So, he morphed into a Malcolm X wannabe.
After all, Memphis is where Stephen "KFC" Cohen hails from.

I just looked up one of the factoids cited and found it to be true. It took me less than two minutes. After dinner, I will look up some more. This is not about something that’s hard to prove like a he/said she said sex scandal. The assertions are easily provable. Let’s check back in a few days, shall we?

I'd posit that the people trying to come up with complaints about him are likely far bigger frauds than he is.

Oh, come on. Anyone who observes the difference in appearance and demeanor in merely 7 years and doesn't think "WTH?" is denying reality.

Wow you're weirdly obsessed with this guy. Luckily for us, it doesn't matter what you think! All that matters is what his constituents think!
