Now the Tennessee Tribune has picked up the story. https://tntribune.com/where-does-the-tennessee-house-speaker-actually-live/ Let's see who else picks up the story and whether it continues to be investigated. Doubt it will ever make the MAGA news, regardless of what is found. |
Yes we can. Precedent is not immutable. |
Note the byline:
And, the Tribune is not a hugely popular source in TN. |
It would take a long time to untangle all the places where “marriage” gives you some benefit . Hopefully we have made it so that this is no longer an issue, but who knows what those nuts on SCOTUS will do, so if they undo that decision, I guess we could go to this method. |
This story could be easily proven/disproven if only other journalists--or fellow lawmakers--wanted to pursue it. Heck, anybody with access to the internet could search for property records, tax records, school records. Discounting its sources doesn't make it implausible. |
And, yet.... nobody has. There is a reason for that. Bottom line - Judd Legum is not credible. |
| So basically, the GOP ejected 2 African-American delegates, drew the ire of thousands of young Tennessee voters, a well as young voters nation wide, the delegates have been reinstated as they run for special election, they have both gained national platforms to expose the racism and hypocrisy of the GOP, and the GOP in Tennessee gained...what exactly? |
I just looked up one of the factoids cited and found it to be true. It took me less than two minutes. After dinner, I will look up some more. This is not about something that’s hard to prove like a he/said she said sex scandal. The assertions are easily provable. Let’s check back in a few days, shall we? |
Does it state that anything was illegitimate? |
