Not so much for others.

Psst, your bad grammar gives you away. Also your post about the art history kid at Yale.

Is that really impressive??

I know one who did fine arts there!

I know one, too.
A high school art teacher now.
Not impressive.

So, you wouldn’t want your child to have a Yale-educated teacher?

That’s about it

Every other school is tainted

MIT asks for all test scores, as does Georgetown. They do not play rankings games. Add those to your list.

MIT practices affirmative action as does Georgetown

They ask for all scores and don't play ranking games. What does the "practice affirmative action" comment refer to in this context?

Impressed: MIT, Wyoming Catholic, Oxford, Williamson College of the Trades, Webb Institute, Carnegie-Mellon, IIT - Bombay, Curtis Institute, Deep Springs (at least older grads, dunno the current crop), Julliard, Princeton.

Also, Harvard sucks.

Doesn’t seem creative or correct to say HYSP is the best at everything. Depends on the topic:

Broadcasting / journalism—Syracuse
International work - Hopkins (even though they graduated a Russian spy recently)
Medicine - Rochester, Hopkins, Pitt
Business - UMD, Babson, Harvard, Stanford
Environmental - Allegheny, Juniata, Brown, Rutgers
Acting - Yale
Communications - Emerson
Public affairs - Syracuse, CMU
Marine biology - Eckerd and maybe URI

My college for my major.
Other colleges, meh!

None. I’ve met exemplary people who went to no name schools and terrible people who went to name brand schools.
