What?! You are off your rocker. |

I listened. The parts with JK Rowling were very interesting, although the 2nd episode was kind of boring - it was mostly about evangelicals’ treatment of the Harry Potter series (evil!).
Like most people, I agreed with her take on Transwomen. I didn’t find her comments particularly controversial. But I get that we live in a heightened world where people on social media like to pile on everything. |
| Twenty years from now she will be remembered as someone who did the right thing. |
Spot on. Can't believe how much I was manipulated by this extreme gender ideology for years. Kinda angry with myself for letting them walk all over my boundaries, while also marginalizing my own abuse experiences. |

I think she's a great role model for young women. Whether or not you like HP or think she's a good writer, what she created is huge. And she did it with her own imagination and hard work.
AND she's used her wealth and her fame to do what she believes in, when she could easily just roll around in her money. |
| episode 2 seems pointless. |
| Every real feminist supports JKR. |
Yes. She's a badass. Truly courageous |
I agree. |
Same, sister. |
YES. If I read about "pregnant people " anymore I will lose it. |
My 11 year old loves HP. My 8 year old is a few books into the series. We love her and are huge fans. |

I'm a cis hetero man who has at times tried to make the case that JK Rowling has simply being trying to say what many posters here are saying. And I've thought that I'd be seen as an ally to natal women when making this case.
And 3 natal women have disagreed with me and thought it was JK Rowling who is trying to shut down conversations. I don't get it. |
This 100%. Women are women. The fact that this is now a controversial statement is mind boggling. |
Yes! |
