How have early results been so far at your child’s school? Specifically Ivy/Stanford/Duke/MIT

Anonymous
St. Albans is up to about 20 Ivy boys out of 75 grads this year.
At least half are athletic recruits. A few are super smart, unhooked. Most of the top boys are not committed yet.

What school is this? Surprised be high ea/sceas.

CA private

What on earth are you doing on a DC website talking about a CA private school? You really need to get a life. Wow.

I used to live in the DMV, and there’s no CA equivalent of DCUM.

So what. It’s still weird. I used to live in New Jersey. I don’t hang out on New Jersey websites talking about DC college admissions. What you’re doing is really weird and really sad.

Lol, not DMV

Somebody in CA needs to start their own version of DCUM.

I saw different locations on the home dcum page.

It's no different at the W schools in MCPS. Those kids are just as likely to be legacy admits.

Again, OP didn’t specify DMV-only. This forum goes much farther than DC college admissions - I’ve found it to be very helpful regardless of home state.

Ok, weirdo, do tell: how is this thread and what you’ve added to it “helpful” in any way to college admissions for anyone? How?

How is your gatekeeping helpful?

Look, this poster claims to be “out of the loop” at her school in CALIFORNIA yet gives a list of colleges acceptances anyway and says there “may be more.” So here we have an anonymous poster from clear across the country talking about an unnamed school and giving a list that she herself says is probably not even accurate. And this is helpful, how?

Threads like this are ridiculous.

You need to stop bullying the CA poster. I posted from France while I was living there temporarily. I'm French but usually I live in Bethesda. Some people post from Asia.

It's not weird at all. DCUM is unique. There is nothing quite like it anywhere else.

Don't believe anyone has announced at our FCPS HS. Think we'll know in April.
