How have early results been so far at your child’s school? Specifically Ivy/Stanford/Duke/MIT

3 Harvard, 3 MIT, 2 Stanford, 2 UChicago, 1 Princeton, 1 Penn, 1 Brown, 1 Hopkins that I know of (and I’m actually one of the more out-of-loop parents, so there may well be more!)…

MIT 2
Yale 3
Harvard 1
Princeton 1
Stanford 4

Not sure I buy that as some of those are more than early and rd admissions combined for the various W schools last year.

Nope, but OP didn't specify DMV-only schools.

Somebody in CA needs to start their own version of DCUM.

Public in central Virginia, 300 member senior class:

3 Duke, 1 Yale, 1 Dartmouth, 1 Cornell, 1 Amherst, 1 Georgetown, 1 Bates, handful of UVA and W&M EDs.

Rejections / deferrals at Princeton & Brown - seems Brown was particularly tough this year

For a lot of these expensive privates, I don't think the numbers mean much unless we know how many had legacy status.

First school, class of approximately 80. Second, class of 130. No legacies, some athletic recruits.

What on earth are you doing on a DC website talking about a CA private school? You really need to get a life. Wow.

This is one weird a$$ thread. I’ll try:

Small Midwest private: Harvard 2, Yale 3, Stanford 3, Chicago 3
