Lol. Battle of the people who think they are experts because their spouses are experts. |
No. But I'm glad you find all this humorous. What kind of person laughs at something like that?
I've had anxiety and depression since I was a child. |
I’m not “battling” I’m agreeing with you! How would I see what’s in my husbands notes or have any clue? |
I just love when people write this. Immediate indication they think the patient is always right and are difficult. It’s the Karen of the medical world. You can barely get appointments with most specialists. They don’t care |
You need to have your anxiety treated and stop focusing on this. I mean this kindly. These “corrections” aren’t reasonable except maybe the misdiagnosis which you haven’t said what it is. Good luck. |
Then bring this up with whoever is treating your anxiety (especially if that’s currently no one). This is what I call “anxiety brain” to my anxious 10 yr old. It’s not a real problem. It’s anxiety brain leading you astray. |
Um, NO. I already stated I have a heart condition. The notes written regarding diet/exercise are important and I stand by that. |
Are you a candidate for a heart transplant and that’s why you’re concerned? Because they are gonna go by BMI there. |
No. WTF. I have a normal BMI and a congenital heart condition. You guys make wild assumptions. The notes and difficulty with this doctor are driving up my anxiety. |
I’m actually trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that your grad school eating habits will matter, ever, in any way. There are very few times it might come up. Transplant is one of them. And that’s basically it. |
Then submit corrections already. Is there a question? Many of your complaints truly do not matter. Like this one: She also wrote that I reported "unhealthy eating habits and lack of exercise" while in grad school, which is not what I said. I said I tend to eat healthy but I'm not "perfect" (not to mean that I eat "unhealthy". Potato or Po-ta-toh? |
Which is exactly what I told you earlier and you disagreed with. |
The notes are not going to matter. I get that you have high anxiety possibly because if this lifelong heart condition. But your energy is misplaced. |
In my case, because we are both research scientists, worked in the same lab, and we know each other. Actually I've known plenty of doctor's spouses (men and women, not even in STEM fields) who knew a lot about how their spouse wrote up exam notes and how they worked as doctors. I don't know why you don't, but you'll have to accept that your experience is just yours. |
Why do you think notes don't matter? I am also in the medical field myself and I read patient notes all the time. Other doctors will read that and assume that about me. Insurance providers can also read that. |
