Anything by Old Dominion or Brothers Osborne or Chris Stapleton. So, so good.
We've been on a John Pardi kick over here lately: Tequila a Little Time With You is pretty catchy.

Maren Morris, My Church

I’m really more of a Jason Isbell person myself, though.

such a gorgeous one. someone who cannot appreciate George Jones probably just doesn’t like music and is a lost cause anyway.

I think a lot of the suggestions are off track. Someone who “refuses to like country” won’t like country radio hits that are more rock than country anyway. You need to show them country at its absolute best, virtuoso voices and gorgeous simple lyrics. Dolly, George Jones, Merle … if you want a more upbeat sound, outlaw country like Willie Nelson.

I think the key question is what kind of music does this person like?

There is a ton of crossover country. I grew up on indie rock and I love Morgan Wade, she has a heavy southern accent but rock instramentation and indie rock themes-matches and metaphors and take me away are two great songs. I enjoy a lot of the suggestions by pp, but lets be real that they are trash pop country songs and I think someone who isn't into the genre would not be won over (looking at your walker hays and old dominion).
