Just because he’s the President doesn’t mean he can’t mishandle classified information. He can declassify information, but there’s a process for that. I’m a lifelong Democrat but am frustrated by the double standard.

Just because he’s the President doesn’t mean he can’t mishandle classified information. He can declassify information, but there’s a process for that. I’m a lifelong Democrat but am frustrated by the double standard.

Maybe we will actually get some bipartisan cooperation on this issue: pass a law that states National Archives will review every document that departs with a former POTUS or VP to ensure it is not classified. Seems like a pretty simple piece of legislation, the damn Congress just needs to set it up and fund it.
