I know for a fact that intent doesn’t matter when it comes to mishandling classified information, at least as far as being fired over it is concerned. You don’t even have to mishandle anything marked as classified. Security can just decide it’s classified, even if it’s out there in open source.[/quote]

The point is that these guys won’t have anything happen to them, whereas many worker bees have had their clearances pulled and been fired for discussing information that isn’t even classified, but security decides it is. It happens WAY more than people realize and there’s absolutely no recourse for these folks.[/quote]

Pence can’t be fired because he doesn’t work for the government.  And he probably doesn’t have a clearance.  And Biden can’t be fired or be denied classified because the constitution says so.  Feel free to vote against either though.[/quote]
