| Lots of kids are deferred EA - our DS was deferred and accepted in the regular round as were a number of his friends. I was surprised he was not accepted EA so just know it's a possibility and may just mean waiting a little longer for the final decision. |

According to a handout from our FCPS high school counselor, the acceptance rate was 70% for kids applying (from our high school) last year. |

DP. Not from our high school - it was much lower, closer to the PP's 58%. |

Do you know why? Do they assume that a lot of kids from your high school are using it as a safety and won't actually attend? |

Historically today would be the day, but their latest Instagram says mid-January so I’d guess Tuesday at the latest. |

I'm going to guess it will be tomorrow, just before 5 pm.
They expect to get a ton of phone calls from parents of students who were rejected/deferred and want to give them the weekend to simmer down. |

Their instagram account said that they had record numbers of applications and that they like to post during the week so that they are in the office to answer people’s questions. |

| Does anyone know if the JMU Honors college admissions results are announced on the same date? |
