+1 This is so true! I find out most things through DCUM!
|
Same! I would think a lot of kids in this area would be waiting on JMU EA too? |
|
I have a Junior High Schooler death set on JMU.
Posters, if you get accepted, could you please include GPA and SAT scores if submitted. Good luck everyone! |
| Go Dukes! 💜💛 |
Definitely! But also, plenty of OOS kids are waiting too. My son’s best friend in Connecticut is anxiously waiting too. |
| Isn't the acceptance rate like 86%? |
I've seen that number posted before, but it looks like for this past fall it was around 75%. https://www.jmu.edu/admissions/fastfacts.shtml |
And not for EA so there’s still nervousness and uncertainty. |
+1 And not for many schools in NoVA - acceptance rate is much lower here. That "86%" poster loves to troll whenever JMU comes up. DP |
| For our nova school, naviance shows 64% were accepted last year |
| Good luck, everyone. |
| My DD could previously open her "JMU Test Scores" and change to test optional if she wanted to. Now that is no longer an option. Does that mean decisions are being released soon? I believe I saw a similar situation with Penn State. |
This. Our public was even less. |
Our fcps public has 58 percent

Interesting and seems positive for your daughter based on other portals? CC tracks this kind of thing, with some people reporting portal changes and others reporting no change. Once people update with their decision, you can determine the pattern, or if there is one. Hopefully those waiting will hear (good) news this week! |
