Jeremy Renner in critical condition

that is huge. I was concerned there was brain damage and they were keeping him alive for organ donation. A possible amputation is awful but he can live and recover. I always liked him. Hope he is better soon.

He is conscious and talking, so anoxic brain injury is unlikely.

Wonderful news! He can overcome an amputation, no worries so long as his brain is functioning properly there is nothing he can’t do.

How does his leg get crushed if he’s inside the snow plow? It must have flipped?

Or he got out or fell for some reason while it was still running and it rolled over him. Anton Yelchin was killed because he thought his car was in park and instead it was in neutral and rolled backwards while he was grabbing his mail and crushed him against the gate. Jeep later rolled out a fix and settled a lawsuit with his parents over the gear lever having a stupid design because he wasn't the first person it happened to. Lots of freak possibilities, lots of open questions here. Thankfully it appears Renner may both pull through and be coherent enough to recount what happened.

In intensive care, blunt chest trauma in addition to orthopedic injuries.

who said he was inside it?

Doesn't this mean he was outside of it?

According to a neighbor, the plowing machine -- called a Snowcat -- accidentally ran over one of Jeremy's legs, and he was losing a lot of blood from the injury. We're told another neighbor, who's a doctor, was able to put a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived.

How does a plow run over someone’s leg if that person is driving it??

Really? They said his leg and chest..I just assumed he will lose the leg.

Ignore that pp, simply not true.

I know it was a snowplow, but I know two 30-somethings (unrelated) that died in snowmobile accidents. One had a new baby and new wife.

Are you basing this on your experience in the ED/ICU?

He obviously got out for some reason and didn’t set the safety brake (or it failed). Or the whole thing tipped over. Lots of options, especially in the mountains.

A neighbor growing up died when he flipped his tractor and it pinned him in a 2 inch deep mud puddle. He drowned. Rural life is dangerous.

Of course not, this is not remotely accurate.
