I’ve tried Baby Foot and another brand that I got from Sephora. Neither one did anything at all. I have a Diamond foot scraper and follow up with Burt’s Bees Almond & Milk hand cream.

You left it on for the full time, soaked your feet each day afterward and didn’t put any cream on your feet?

Yes. The first time I followed the directions exactly. The second time I left the booties on a little longer. I had absolutely no peeling. Nothing.

I’ve only had that happen when I didn’t soak it feet each day after the treatment or forgot and used moisturizer on my feet before they peeled.

I followed the durations precisely. Used name brand. Didn’t work. 2 attempts.

My feet were bad with deep, painful cracks on my heels. This cream worked amazingly well for me: https://www.target.com/p/soap-38-glory-original-pink-heel-genius-foot-cream-4-2-fl-oz/-/A-51207505#lnk=sametab

I put it on every night and my heels were soft and crack free within a few weeks. I tried stopping it and the cracks came back. When I use it nightly, my feet are great - it’s been about 2 years now. My dermatologist MIL swears there are not any ingredients in it that should work the miracle that it does for my feet, but somehow it just works for me.

Bonus is I only need a small amount, it absorbs quickly, and smells nice.

That’s odd. Maybe it was the brand? Baby feet was the only thing that worked for me. My feet were gnarly and after the treatment they were smoother. Then I used a foot file to get them smooth.

This. I use it monthly.

Baby foot. Fixed my feet twice in the past 6 or 7 years when I let them get bad due to serious health issues.

Baby Feet takes too long and is too gross. After MANY years of trying various products, these are the best.

This exfoliator to remove excess dead/dry skin:

Followed by this lotion (contains urea) and put socks on:

Did that every day until feet were in better shape. Now my feet have stabilized and I just use a regular foot file every day in the shower and do the lotion once a week or so.

Op here: this is definitely not what I’m talking about. Are they less dry in the morning? Sure. Are the cracks and all the dryness gone- no way. Not even close.

You have to do Vaseline or Occitane foot cream or cracked heel cream. Slather generously and then put socks on. Do this for a week or so.

You're wrong and don't know what you're talking about. The people posting about creams containing urea (Kerasal contains it if someone wants a legit, non-Amazon brand) know what they're talking about.

PP. I’m telling you what works for me. I hope that you’re able to find a solution that works for you.
For what it’s worth, I’m the poster who said that Baby Foot didn’t work for me. Fortunately, Vaseline does.

DP. If baby foot doesn’t work for you but Vaseline does, then you have different foot issues than what OP is describing.

That’s possibly true. All the OP said was “cracked rough feet”. I’m sure those come in many different varieties.

That’s what I thought after the first try, so I tried a different brand the second time. Oh well. I was really looking forward to the peeling and the transformation. Maybe I’ll give it another try. I was kind of looking forward to the dramatic peeling part.

Thanks for the tips. I’ll keep this in mind if I try again. Maybe longer soaking times might help.

I thought so, too, but read that Vaseline can penetrate the skin.

This happens to me almost every year. I wear a pair of running shoes around all the time (we are typically a no-shoes household), along with the usual exfoliation and heavy creams. It takes a couple of weeks.

This is the brand I have used with excellent results. My SIL swears by it, and uses it all the time because she hates getting pedicures.

Np, thanks for posting this thread, op. I have the same issues with my feet. I am going to try the pedi-perfect shaver that someone posted upthread.
