Agree NL ML and for that matter DCE are constantly trying to poach each others players and if you are a standout anywhere you will be approached by respective parent leader for sure.

ML is nationally recognized; NL not so much. Being from NY, but having friends who have kids down in DMV, the poaching is far worse down there. Probably has to do w so many of the private HS coaches involved in the club scene and are used to poaching/recruiting for HS.

In LI, the public school lacrosse is strong enough that many kids just stay public, so that limits the idea of recruiting at the HS level.

Don't know enough about Capital to say whether any NL 27 girls would make blue or orange but some can make one of the Capital teams if they try out. The best athlete from last year's NL 27 went to Hero's White this year. NL27 still has a few good athletes on the team that may be looking for better coaching. NL 27 is a top B team that will play A this year. Last chance for some of the girls to see how they stack up against top competition.

how about we let the girls grow and develop at their own pace and when tryouts for Capital happen we’ll all know who makes what team. It’s great you have your daughter’s future all panned out.
