No, just setting macro targets based on planned activity level for each day and providing feedback on food quality. The onus is on me to track what I eat but paying someone and regularly meeting with them holds me accountable. |
These are good points. Yes - a coach should have particular skills and perspectives. I tried a program once with a coach and I had a feeling that she had never been overweight herself - didn’t “get me”. I don’t think she understood the demands of my life either and what led me to overeat. |
Do pay $500 for 13 week program for the accountability. I don’t do well on my own because I just don’t hold myself accountable. It’s been worth it for me |

I have lost 50lbs and kept it off. But instead of charging for my guidance based on my personal experiwnce, I will give it for free: go into therapy and work on your personal happiness and how it relates to your bad relationship with food. Then take baby steps over time to change it. |
