The Annapolis nuclear secrets couple were exposed by a foreign government
trying to curry favor with the USG. But I can’t see Russia doing that to these idiots lol

I’m wondering if the Major turned in his own wife and set her up? He’s probably had suspicions for years that she was potentially a spy.

No, in both cases the couples only communicated with the FBI agents thinking that they were communicating with the foreign government. In the case of Annapolis couple Brazil displayed some signal outside their embassy when they FBI asked them to do it.

This whole thing is so bonkers and they should not very bright. They were giving medical records for some people stationed at Fort Bragg. What exactly is Russia supposed to do with that? It’s treason, yes, but it’s also pretty pathetic.

medical records give indications of health issues that could be used to assassinate them

From the link: "According to the indictment, Gabrielian provided the UC with IIHI related to two individuals, including the spouse of an employee of the Office of Naval Intelligence, whom Gabrielian pointed out had a medical condition Russia could “exploit.”

So disgusting.

I am a military spouse who gets my treatment at Walter Reed. I know others who do at Johns Hopkins. To exploit someones confidential medical records, seek to find some advantage in an illness they may have, is reprehensible. I hope these two go down for a long time. How delusional and pathetic they seem, but their actions are reprehensible just the same.

Armenian, and if she's Armenian born, that means she is Russian-speaking.

It's disgusting behavior is what it is. Jail them for a long, long time.
