Notre Dame would never want to join the Ivy League anyway! It is happy to be ranked right there and fully independent to print football $$! The Ivy League isn't all it is cracked up to be. Georgetown wouldn't even give up its basketball TV $$ to join. Remember that the ancient 8 really is just an old but now low-level athletic conference! |
And ranked by Forbes too. I’m so impressed with JMU. Didn’t know much about it, but my freshman loves it, and it’s a great school. |

I wonder why Emory isn't able to regularly get itself ranked higher? They have the 9th largest endowment (https://www.collegeraptor.com/college-rankings/details/Endowment) but have consistently been ranked in the low 20s.
The schools ranked higher on the endowment list have some upside given their resources. |

You forgot "CHOMP CHOMP" |
Honestly, I wouldn't bother looking too closely at the few sets of undergrad departmental rankings. |
| UT-Austin and UW-Madison finally getting some well deserved respect. |
I would. They are much a more useful tool than a general ranking. |
um, yeah sure.. |
Emory does not have the 9th highest endowment. It has the 15th. Here is a link to the real rankings: https://www.nacubo.org/Research/2021/Public-NTSE-Tables |
I mean, I guess. My kid waltzed right into UW-Madison and was waitlisted at UVA in state (ended up getting in in June). |
How is UVA ranked at the same level as USC/NYU and Michigan? Just comparing it to Michigan, Pretty much all programs at Michigan are top notch. UVA's engineering and CS are middling. Can someone explain? P.S. Don't jump on me. I have a kid at UVA.

+1. Think your full paying for a CS degree from 29 Wake Forest and to find out its 141. |
