Why don't Tesla's have front license plates? Isn't it required in VA?

Didn’t you know the law doesn’t apply to luxury vehicle owners?

In VA its $25 and $51 in court costs. $76. No different that speeding through a red light camera. Lots of people with no front plates in VA.

It's silly to require two plates and the cops get it.

Above the law. Ok…

Blame the cops for not enforcing it. If it made them (and the public) less safe they would.

Logic tells you it's a silly law.

So now it’s ok that cops don’t enforce some laws. Interesting.

Please back up the notion that cars with only rear plates are a threat to public safety.

Thanks.

They don’t have to be a threat to public safety, what’s obnoxious about it is deciding that for aesthetic reasons, the law doesn’t apply to you. You don’t like the license plate law, organize to get it changed.

They’d pay the fine, I imagine.

Not their fault they’ve never been ticketed.

It isn't for aesthetic reasons. There isn't a spot to put a front plant.

Police officers alway use their judgment and limited resources. That is not new. Not every offense is worth their time. They have more important things to do.

I see the no one is above the law.

Teslas have non expiring inspections. You don't have to take them in.

Interesting. Now I see VA is not for law lovers. Hmm

There's so much to laugh about here I don't know where to start.

The two bolded sentences have nothing to do with each other.

Blame the cops who don't enforce the law, rather than the people who consciously break it?

In DC, porch pirates are rarely if ever prosecuted. I'm supposed to blame the police, and not the thief, when my amazon package gets stolen?

No one suggested they are.

? What car doesn’t have a spot for it? I own a Tesla and there is a front plate on it. Was there when we brought it home.

We are talking about Teslas here. Not “luxury”.
