Why don't Tesla's have front license plates? Isn't it required in VA?

Wait, what? You just don’t put the state required front plate on because you don’t like the aesthetics? And you don’t get cited? That seems like a flagrant violation of state law.

I’ve owned different sports cars for 20+ years and have never put one on any of my cars in MD and VA. What am I supposed to do, ruin the front end of the car? I’ve only been cited twice during that span and the fees have been nominal so it’s worth the risk to me to not use a front plate.

Which cars are so precious that you can’t put on a license plate?

I haven’t put them on any of them whether it’s a daily driver or the sports car. But based on your judgemental tone you want to know the make and model so you can decide what’s worthy of a front plate. Are you one of those angry, bored, sexually frustrated Prius drivers who manage everyone’s speed by going 54 mph in the left lane?

Lol. No, I’d blow you away. Off the line. On the highway. In my car with front plates.

Well if your goal is to "blow" everyone away, than you have other issues other than whether a car has front mounted plates.

My “goal”? Lol, no. Just the facts, gramps.

I have no problem with not having plates on the front but what I do have a problem with is, these dark smoke license plate covers that don't allow you to even read the back license plate!!! There must be a law just like tinted windows on how dark they can be.

DP

I flagrantly violate lots of equally stupid laws. I learned it from watching our political leadership. If they can pick and choose laws to ignore, then I can as well.
