The time to fear it is gone. For most people after vaccination it will be like a flu. |
Abysmal fail |
Because no one minds having the flu. And at multiple times a year. |
Not enough to make my kids wear masks for 2 weeks. And they take it off to eat, so it’s all theater. |
There is outdoor seating option so you’re playing theatre and they masks is for 10 days drama queen. |
Most people that have the flu don’t even know they have the flu. Kind of like Covid. How rough… |
+1 I like what the pp said, the time to fear COVID is gone. |
I'm assuming that the mask costuming is still actually optional, though. And they're naive if they think they'll get critical mass with the testing. |
People who have the flu know they have the flu. How rough it is for you to be so obtuse. |
You don’t dictate what one fears. |
It’s costuming when people like yourself make it such because with your antics. |
Listen unless the kids are wearing proper KN95 respirators, fitted tight without any breaks (so those rainy days on indoor lunch or your Larlo needs to pick his nose). This variant is so contagious that cloth masks and surgical masks are pointless, and any break is basically game over. |
Getting the flu sucks for some of us. What on earth is a pro-lockdown family? We never had real lockdowns. |
Level 3 surgical masks are ok. |
Who’s obtuse? https://doi.org/10.1016/S2213-2600(14)70034-7 "The age-adjusted attributable rate of illness if infected was 23 illnesses per 100 person-seasons (13–34), suggesting most influenza infections are asymptomatic. 25% (18–35) of all people with serologically confirmed infections had PCR-confirmed disease. 17% (10–26) of people with PCR-confirmed influenza had medically attended illness." |
