Unfortunately, you are absolutely right. It’s very strange and disheartening. |
Not really. I don’t even follow your attack strategy any more. |
You just did. You awfully care a lot for someone who claims to not care. Desperate. |
Lol! You just inadvertently admitted!-dp |
I think we’re going in circles. But that’s part of the fun. Like I said, these tend to be amusing threads, and I enjoy participating. |
Admitted what? |
You live a pathetic life if that’s what you enjoy. I don’t think even most pathetic individuals would admit that. -dp |
No, honey. You’re going in circle trying to weasel your way out. |
Add stupid to your list of characteristics. |
Seriously? I’m not surprised. |
Gawd. Just like an ES playground.

Given the near zero risk of covid to children, and to the vast majority of vaccinated and boosted adults, continuing to moralize covid and the decision of adults to let children live a normal life is pretty messed up and selfish. |
| I just wish the language teachers would not mask up, or wear clear see-through masks. It’s so hard to learn a new language while not seeing somebody’s mouth formation or for the heart of hearing to be able to see the mouth and hear the words at the same time. So for the teachers who are masking up I understand, but can you at least wear clear masks ? |
There is always a risk to kids when they get sick. Risk of death is slim but being sick for a week or two and missing school/life (for a decent family) is not a healthy situation. You also seem to forget that these kids live with adults and the consequences for them are far more serious. Vaccines may help with death but they aren't helping with transmission and its very easy to catch the new variants, specially in a MCPS school given no mitigation. Its bizarre how you justify your behavior. We are still being careful. Covid was very rough for us this summer and no, we cannot yet live a "normal" life because of people like you and the risks/consequences to our family. You simply forget too that a child who brings it home to a parent, with no sick leave, who then has a loss of their minimum wage income has a much more serious impact when they have to choose food over rent than you with your privilege in your million dollar+ house. |
